Kaleo: Morning, Afternoon, and Evening Prayers

Today I'm going have a series of posts on what is called the Prayer Offices - a fancy way of saying that you're going to pray through the day: morning, noon, and evening. Below, are files for morning, noon and evening prayers.

These prayers can take 5 minutes - or 30. It's up to you.
And what's cool - is that these prayers are being prayed by people all across the world - and have been prayed for centuries past. So read slowly. Take your time. Let these words sink in. And let them aid you in your persistence.

Kaleo: Prayer (Persistance)

Over the course of this week you'll find some thoughts and suggestions for practicing the discipline of prayer.

I want to get started by encouraging you to read Luke 18.
(youversion.com is one place to go)

Ok. So what do you make of this story? Especially in light of Luke 11 which we explored on Sunday.

In both stories, Jesus is driving at the point of persistence. Even if it's midnight, even if the request is significant, even if silence is the only response you get, Jesus tells us to keep at it. "Never give up." (Luke 18:1)
